I’ll try to keep this short. The last few years I’ve worked construction and spent more time on the road than I have at home. With my wedding coming up I’ve decided to change careers into something that offers a better balance of life and work. Problem is, I have no idea what to pursue. I don’t feel particularly passionate about any certain thing. What’s most important to me with a job is the culture, the people I work with and the over all stress level the job has on my life outside of work. I’m not looking to be rich. 40k+ annually would suit me fine for now. I’m looking to be a contributor financially while still having time to live my life. I have a chunk in savings, a part time job that is perfect for a student and I’m eligible for financial aid. Any input would be welcomed.
To mention, nursing is way too competitive in my area. Pacific Northwest. I have no specific skill set but I’ve always done well with any job I’ve had and feel confident I could learn anything I put my mind to.
Thanks.
