I've been trying to use mint and it's just been frustrating me. There's really no way to budget in variable expenses that need to have money put to them every month, and it won't let you have more than one budget and gets confused by any sort of special account (in my case, an HSA) that needs to be planned into the budget. Plus pending transactions still show up but can't be properly categorized if they need to be split, which messes everything up. I like the idea of having everything linked together where I can see it, but I'm finding it hard to get the system to actually do what I need and I'm honestly getting as much frustrating trying to make it work in a way that makes sense to me as actual benefit.
Is there anything out there that works a bit better?
Clarification: I do want something that updates automatically, without every single transaction having to be manually entered. I just want something that covers all our transactions available, and mint seems to be missing a lot of options.
