example: home depot sold me a siding window screen. i bought it not for my window, but hammered it to my wall and hung about 30+ pairs of earrings from it. also, my neighbor is about to give me unused BBQ grill mats. i'm going to see if i can use them as shelf liners on my wire racks. but in the meantime, i've been buying thick posterboard from dollar tree and using that as shelf liners. a little too thick for me hence my desire to try the bbq grill mat liners. has anyone else done stuff like this?
