Hey everyone, this is my first career job it's a big financial decision for me. I was just offered a job as a salesperson on track to become management at a flooring company, and their compensation plan is $2500 a month as draw against commission, with $1000 a month as payment for being hired into this program.

Is this a good deal or does it seem unreasonable? I've read up a bit on how draw against commission works and understand it, but don't really know numbers-wise if that's likely to send me into the hole with this company. It would more than cover my living expenses (by a ton,) but I don't want to get in over my head if they're setting the bar too high for me. Let me know if more detail is necessary!
