I'm tired of spending $150 on a Guess bag or whatever I find at Marshalls and having it last 6 months before seams start giving out or straps start falling apart.

I've been doing some research and came across one I really liked from Saddleback Leather, the Indiana satchel bag in black. But after reading about deteriorating quality and jacked up prices, I'm wary to buy from them if the quality isn't going to match the price.

I will be using it as my daily carry bag to carry my wallet, phone, keys, and my Kobo (like a kindle) or a book or two. I like bags with structure, so the leather has to be sturdy, not saggy. I'm willing to spend up to $500 for an incredible bag, but would like to keep it around $300. It has to be black and have a cross-body strap.

I'm in Canada so ideally I would like to find a Canadian company, but US or UK made are also top of my list.
