My current futon is finally giving up on life after nearly 15 years, and I'm trying to find a sofa/sectional that would last me a while as a new investment. I'm willing to invest up to $2.5k if I know the piece will last. I would prefer a sofa with a chaise (reversible is possible), fabric covered, and I prefer a deep seat that is on the firm side. I'm also thinking if the sofa is deep enough, the chaise may not be a necessity? I've read good things about Room & Board, and maybe CB2, but outside of Ikea I really don't have much furniture buying experience so I need help!
