I’ve recently handed my notice in. I’m an account manager for an engineering company making a decent wage. I have given myself 3months (notice period) to work out what will make me happy. Im working 60hours a week always on call even over Christmas and when on leave, a slave to my phone and emails and making my SO miserable . Noticed my stress levels mounting and sleep really suffering was getting only about 4 hours a night and decided to make a big judgement call.
I would love to hear more from people who have made that decision, how you went about it and where you ended up as it feels like a huge step into the terrifying unknown.
