Hi! I’m moving to a new flat in a few weeks and we’re installing a 2 metre long, 55 cm wide oak dining bar (instead of a table, and to act as an extension of the work surface/counter) on the wall that will continue the counter to the side of it. I was wondering what would be the cleanest, strongest way to install it, considering that the bar is pretty heavy and will need to withstand some weight, and there’s a cupboard to the side and under the bar that needs space to open (if you’re standing in front of the bar the cupboard is under it to the left), which means there can’t be a leg or a bracket too close to that edge. The right edge is free and can have a leg.Would installing 2-3 brackets under the bar, along with one leg on the right corner do the trick? If yes are there specific brackets I should use? Thanks for the help!!Edit: I should also say that I don’t want it hanged with chains/cable from the ceiling or wall because I need that space available and the chains/cable will get in the way. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2ETGIXm
