Hi all

So I'm 26m from London, never left home even for uni which i fully regret, I work in central London with a decent job but it's still a grad salary so nothing amazing. Staying at home has and will allow to me save a lot of money I aim to buy a house one day but an opportunity has arisen where a good friend of mine has a spare room and he needs help with his rent, it's very cheap compared to what you have to pay in that area of London, around 450 a month all in. I feel like moving out and living independently, it would be a challenge but london is an amazing place for my age group right now and I would be around my friends that I grew up with. Only thing is my savings will take a hit, I am very unsure on what to do. I would however save a lot on travel too because I would be a lot closer to central if I move out I would need a zone 1 travel card instead of 1-4 and I could even walk if I felt like it would take around 30-40 mins to get to work so the money I save in travel would go to the rent and then I'd a little more to make up the 450. What do you guys think? Should I move out and have that independent experience, meet new people etc or stay at home and just keep saving? Only thing is my social life suffers for it but I still like it I don't have a major problem with staying at home it's just the numbers that worry me. Let me know what you all think ??
