I decided to start changing my oil again after years of being lazy because my local place raised their rates to around 70 bucks. I went to go get materials at pep boys and holy fuck it was going to cost nearly 50 dollars. For reference the last time I changed my oil there was always a 5qts and a filter deal for 20.
At that price I figured the extra 20 was worth not getting dirty.. but lo and behold I happened to notice while shopping at Home Depot that their oil was just a little over half the price at pep boys.
Never would have thought of buying oil from there but I’m glad I noticed.
