I'm learning a lot about home ownership, like how to hang drywall for the first time. My dad graciously offered his help, but sometimes he gets a bit impatient when things aren't going his way.In the process of measuring and trimming the drywall to fit (we hung the panels vertical since there would be less seams to mud in this roughly 12' x 12' room), he forced the drywall against the wall and it's now pressed up against the floor. In a few areas, the gypsum broke and the paper face slightly tore (see photos below). Is this a problem? If so, how can I fix it?
