So my wife and I are planning to move from China to the US later this year. I am a US citizen but my wife isn’t. However we have had several questions on how to set up our finances by moving from a foreign country. I’ve heard things about how there might be taxes or limits to the amount of money that we can receive from foreign people,her family in our case. So just wondering what our the first steps that should be taken in order for it to be an easy move.
