I have a pair of Bose QC20i's that are pushing over 3 years now. They work great but the rubber wire covering is starting to split at multiple points on the wire and I'm worried this is the end (and the beginning of another hunt for headphones - something I haven't had to do in over 4 years).
I tried wrapping cheap electrical tape around the wire but it just fell off within a week. On YouTube it seems like superglue is an option but none of the comments are supportive of this (saying it'll do more harm than good) - what can I do?
