Pretty much what the title says.
My boyfriend and I are lucky enough to live in an area where there's lots of food banks and public support for people financially struggling. I had to quit my job a few months ago for health reasons, and we've been kind of struggling since then. We definitely need to start watching our budget more, because we're actively dipping into our savings to make all our monthly payments/living expenses, and I was wondering if it would be okay if we went and utilized a food bank while we stabilize our budget. I am very, very actively searching for another job, so the hope is that we wouldn't need to use the food bank that often before we become self-sufficient again. My concern is taking away from people who need it more than we do.
