I've looked online until my eyes have bled for someone addressing my exact issue. Have a plaster lath ceiling, onto which PVC faux tin tiles have been glued, but want to add crown molding to finish off. The problem is this -- although the wall/ceiling joint is fairly straight all across the length and width of all 4 walls, in 3 corners the ceiling ever so slightly curves downward into the corner. Pics don't capture it -- I'd guess it's as little as a 1/4 inch in two corners and 3/8 in another.I know I could lower the molding and fill in the gap above if I had a plaster or drywall ceiling, but the ceiling tiles make that impossible. I am thinking of polystyrene molding, and was thinking of shaving the top into the corner until it fits, but that might look bad.Any advice welcome! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2nUbo3i
