I am new to woodworking, but I am making a coffee table out of dimensional lumber from the big box stores. The very last step of my project is where I ran into an issue. After applying, drying, and sanding wood filler, I started to stain the entire coffee table. All was well until I noticed the results after letting everything dry for 48 hours. The wood filler left a gloss like finish to my coffee table and it looks horrible. I tried sanding and restaining the wood filler but it still came out the same. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can repair this? Wood Filler: http://ift.tt/2EekMsx Stain: http://ift.tt/2C9fUzl coffee table: http://ift.tt/2EfqCKo via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2G16yYz
