So i got a letter saying that td bank did not have the correct ssn number for me, but i dont have a td bank account. First thing i did was freeze my credit. Then i called td bank and after a lot of holding the woman confirmed my name, address, and thay the last 4 of my ssn was wrong. i told her i have no recolection of opening this account that she said was an money management escrow account with 1600 in it opened just about 1 year ago. I told her i was a renter and asked her to flag, freeze or anything to what might be a fraudulant account. she said she couldnt make any changes and i had to go to a branch. it was after hours and i asked if there was anything she could do remotely and she said no. So now im sitting at home freaking out because i have no idea what this account is. Any help, advice, or insight would be appreciated!
