Help! During my last move, my mother’s old vanity (80s, “wood”, the top opens up to reveal a mirror) fell on its side and the corner cracked off. Now the desk won’t open properly. There is a hole right where the wood dowel is - I tried spackling the hole but I’m at a loss on how to fill in this hole while protecting the dowel - is there some sort of plastic cover I can cover the dowel with as I fill in the hole?I’m not trying to do more than that, I just want to open the vanity so I can hide crap in it again. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2Et4RWL
