Would anyone here recommend going to a financial advisor? I have financial goals set out that I’m working towards, but I continually have doubts as to whether or not they are fruitful goals or goals that I should even be working towards. Is that something a financial advisor would even talk to me about?

If a financial advisor is someone I should seek out, how would I go about doing so? Also how much would an advisor typically charge for their time?

I’m 22, recently married, and I live in Indiana. I currently work full time, and the company I am working for is paying for my engineering degree. My wife is a first year teacher.
