So I got an American Express card and when I applied I put in a $4000 credit transfer in the application. When I got the card there wasn’t anything about the $4000 transfer but there was paperwork to apply for a transfer, so I filled that out for $2000. Well turns out they put both through, which was $1400 more than the balance on the other card and they say I have $1400 credit on that card now (what does that even mean?) and neither card will reverse the transaction. What is going on, and what should I do?
