I live in a roughly 1000 sq/ft apartment with 1 roommate, and keep our thermostat at roughly 72 degrees, I took a look at our bill It's about $320, In the summer it hovered around $100, when winter started it went up to $120, We haven't installed any new appliances or really done anything differently but our Kilowatt hours usage has gone from ~1000 to ~3000. The strangest thing is that It's actually been colder the previous 2 months by about 20 degrees on average. I'm not sure exactly what I should ask when I call them, I have no idea what is causing this spike...
