My partner and I have some savings already, but are trying to be as frugal as possible this year to top them up as much as possible, with the aim of buying our own property late 2018/early 2019 (we currently rent).
I’m really struggling with entertainment ideas- usually we liked to go out for lunch/ dinner or go to the cinema. I’ve looked online for day out ideas in our area but I’ve not had much luck. Historical sites/ museums/ gardens all seem to charge around £15 pp entry. Cinema is approx £12 per ticket, and lunch/ dinner obviously costs too! When the weather is warmer we will be able to go for picnics etc, and we can obviously do thinks like movie marathons indoors- just need some inspiration/ money saving tips!
