The past few months I’ve been trying to reduce our costs. We’ve been planning to save some money for ourselves so we haven’t even gone outside for a meal. This month I look at my electricity bill and it’s $407. We live in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment, less than 1200 sq ft.
I’m horrified at how this happened. We never had such a high bill. We do leave the thermostat in 75, but we only get about $215 every month, and now I’m hearing that’s high too. I’m really sad right now because I save $150 on groceries and have to spend that much on electricity. I don’t know how it happened. I’m frustrated.
We live in Kansas.
