I tried to place a trade through trading view which was connected to my Oanda account - this wasn't possible because:
"Regrettably recent changes by the FCA in the UK, rules that any third party software must be registered and licensed by the FCA in order for it to be used by any of its member brokers"
"Unfortunately trading view is not licensed with them yet, so you're not able to place trades through them with Oanda".
Which is fair enough but on trading view it says that "You can place real order by opening an account with supported brokers and connecting it to TradingView."
So which is it? Is there any brokers I can trade with on the tradingview platform in the UK?
Or is there any UK alternative to trading view that is FCA regulated that allows for pine scripts etc?
