Im 18 right now and graduated high school in 2017. For awhile now I have been considering joining the carpenters union or college. My love is philosophy, traveling, innovating outside of procedures, and bonding. With carpentry is there any way i can travel the United States during my years as an apprentice or do I have to wait until i earn my stamp? College really doesnt seem to be an option because of money and I'll be stuck in the small town ive been in my whole life but the education i can get from it (especially in philosophy) seems appealing. I know this is a personal question but i've been lost for months. At one point I lived in a camper with my friend in a somewhat secluded area where problems required more thought than just going to the store and fixing it and I absolutely loved it. But I'm passed reading about ideologies I'm ready to go out and experience them. Im definitely not limited to these two ideas so any recommendation is appreciated. My goal is to see the world and make enough to at least live simply. A broadened range of possibilities is needed or suggestions on what I have already mentioned.
