On most other subreddits of a similar size (100k+ members), if you're scrolling through pages in the 'Hot' tab, you can go pretty far on topics submitted within the same day or a few days prior to the current day.

Here, however, I notice that already on the second page it's showing me posts that are older by a week or more.

What I find cool about this is that it really shows that this community puts their money where they're mouth is. We all talk about social media being harmful and often not being very conducive to a meaningful, simple life. Reddit is part of this, as well.

And yet, here we are. Everyone here seems to be on good terms with their consumption of Reddit-based social media that, in this community, we don't have the kind of explosive post-after-FOMO-inducing-post you see everywhere else.
