Even though I have a job (I only make $7.25 an hour) I still find myself struggling. My ex is supposed to pay child support but he's in jail for non payment now so I know that's money I'll never see. I get paid bi-weekly and I'm still playing the game "what bill can I pay on payday and what bill can I let go" . Our heat is currently off because I just couldn't afford to pay it after paying rent.
I already get WIC, SNAP and both me and my daughter get Medicaid. So we don't go hungry but I find myself in the red more often than not with buying diapers and wipes and toiletries we need. I've had to dig change out of my couch cushions to do our laundry.
I don't have Netflix or Hulu or anything like that. I shop at thrift stores for mine and my daughter's clothes. I shop at Aldi for groceries. I'm currently using dish soap for shampoo because I just can't afford anything else
I don't know what else I can do or what else I can cut to make my money last longer. I know there's more to life than this so please frugal help me out here
