hello! first time posting here. anyway, let's cut to the chase: i'm 18 and a college freshman. i don't have a license yet (i have a permit, but then my family car started having problems and i couldn't really practice) and i definitely need one. my current car is my dad's old Honda Odyssey, but driving it stresses me out. it has problems, and i'm MUCH more comfortable driving a smaller car.

i was looking at cars like the Honda Fit, but honestly i don't really care what kind it is as long as it's small, good for learning to drive, will get me from point A to point B, and is affordable for me. i don't need anything fancy.

currently, i have about $3000, and will have ~1500-2000 once my mom and i sell the odyssey.

any advice for types of smaller cars that tend to be affordable and reliable would be greatly appreciated!!
