So my lifestyle I guess could be considered fairly rugged or blue-collar or whatever. Always building something, working around the house and in the garden so I want something that I can beat up a little bit; although I do tend to be really careful and obsessive about the care and maintenance of my things.

I want something that can be worked around the house / garden but is also pretty comfortable and light for going out to eat and whatever. I don’t mean go somewhere nice and wear dress slacks with my beat up boots like some hipster. I pretty much have one set of clothes, they are my workin clothes and my wearin clothes.

My fiancĂ© got me a pair of wolverine Kilometer II’s and if money weren’t a factor I’d probably get a pair of Chippewa Service Boots but I’m not paying that kind of money for a boot right now. I already have a pair of Danner heritage boots that I spent fuck you money on, but they are only used for rooting around in the woods and that’s it.

TL;DR So I’m looking for something either USA made or otherwise a heritage brand for $150ish. She paid $125 for these Wolverines and I just want to gauge if there is anything else I should be looking at.
