There are many recommendations for Kirkland and People's Socks for good quality wool socks in the sub $5-10 range. However, these brands only make taller socks. Ironically when I search for low/no-show socks, which are often ultra thin and have much less material, the only options are the more expensive $15-20+ Darn Tough Smartwool super thin/technical type running socks with running features I don't need. It just feels wrong to be paying that much for a super thin and low sock when I can get the tall beefier ones for a few bucks, and I want one with more cushion preferably like the taller hiking socks. Nothing wrong with Darn Tough, I know this sub likes them, but I'm just looking for something more plain and on the Kirkland/People's sock price tier for these if that exists.
