I recently bought a snowmobile, and the previous owner had hundreds of small stickers plastered to the hood. They were all extremely sunfaded and very brittle. After peeling them all off, a think layer of of the glue/residue was still stuck to the hood? I tried removing it with rubbing alcohol on a paper towel, followed by a credit card to scrape it, but to no avail. How do I go about getting the residue of without damaging the paint?
