Hey, it's me! Another millennial freaking out about the adult world of W-2s and taxes!
So, I'm a college student relying on need-based aid and working. In the past, I have made below the threshold of what you have to make to file taxes (therefore keeping FAFSA from knowing that small chunk of money), but in 2017 I made more.
I worked 3 internships in 2017 (One for the spring semester, a summer job, and a fall internship). I didn't know that I was supposed to keep my final pay stub from each job to keep track of how much I made. How do I go about finding out how much I made? Do I go to the employer/HR department? Or is it available in some government database?
Also... How the fuck do you file taxes? Any advice is helpful, this is a learning process.
