Hi everyone! This is my first DIY project and it's a really small on. I'm building a PC and I'd like to make a custom backplate for my videocard. I got myself a piece of 3mm acrylic sheet as well as some local spray paints. But I have a question about how to do the painting job: I've searched the internet but there are people who say that using the primer isn't necessary while others say that it's really important. If I have read correctly, the primer's purpose is to allow the paint to adhere on the surface therefore making it more resistant. But since I won't expose this piece of acrylic in open air and will put it inside the case, I don't know if it's worth buying it.Will some 600-800 sand paper be enough for the job? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2DZJImK
