Yes, their bags are expensive, but not only are they BIFL from a durability perspective. They're also BIFL because their customer support is absolutely amazing.
Some backstory here: I don't do much hiking in the winter, so my bag stays pretty much in the closet for 4-5 months. After a little while, I decide to pull it out for a hike and find this..
As it turns out, my dumbass cat has been chewing away at this thing for months. So, of course I don't want to replace the whole thing so I file a repair request and kind of expect that they would charge me like $100 to get it fixed, which is still cheaper than the original cost of the bag.
This morning, they let me know that they received the bag and I got an e-mail saying they're going to replace the whole thing at NO cost!. It was even an issue with their product - all due to my own shitty cat and gross negligence.
So yeah, major shout-out to this company because this blew my mind. Will never buy another backpack again.
