I live in an area (not US) where the cost of living is fairly high. My income is quite small. I rent an old apartment. About 35 square meters. I actually don't use all of the space, but I spend a lot of time indoors. I was wondering if it's possible to downsize, to about 25 square meters. It means rent will be lower, and cost of living will be carried better. I'm just afraid to feel trapped, honestly. What would you do?
