I am thinking of rolling my Roth 401K with pre-tax company match into my Roth IRA and converting the pretax portion. However I am unsure how tax will work in the future like if I take 40K out from both the IRA and Roth IRA. Am I taxed for taking money out in 40K Tax Bracket or will I be taxed for taking out money in 80K tax bracket? I understand that the Roth portion will not be taxed since I've already paid Uncle Sam, but how will the IRA portion be taxed?
