I am an occupational therapy student in a Universal Design class. We have free range to make anything we want for an assistive technology project based on any disability. I recently adopted a puppy so my idea was to make a ball launcher to play fetch for people who cannot throw or use their arms (arthritis, amputation, high tone, etc.) I was thinking of making some kind of foot pedal to activate launching the ball. I know products like this already exist, but it has to be handmade.
