Ok so I'm in the process of fully rebuilding a Mk2 Golf. Full engine conversion has been done and I've used parts from a MK4 Golf donor car and made them work with my Mk4. I've installed a MK4 clutch M/C, which has an oil feed line that comes from the oil reservoir on the brake M/C, like this. Since I'm using a Mk2 brake, MC & reservoir, like this I obviously don't have a little spout that feeds the MC. The MK4 reservoir is too big to fit, and you can actually buy Mk2 ones with a spout, but they're stupidly expensive for all they are. So what I want to know is if there's a DIY way of cutting the spout off the MK4, drilling a hole in the Mk2 and fixing the spout in a way that it will be watertight and strong. Plastic welders are expensive, for the price I may as well but the exact one I need, but maybe there's a cheaper alternative? Melting and fusing the plastic with a solder? Maybe some type of plastic JB Weld or epoxy?I'm hoping someone has attempted some sort of plastic fusing before. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2nuvCzB
