My husband and I are receiving $150k tomorrow (or this week sometime). My SIL is buying us out of their late mother’s home and is closing on her refi tomorrow. We will somehow get the $150k from her. We have no idea what to do with this money, especially in the short term while we figure out how to best use it. Has anyone been in a similar situation and can offer some advice?
