I received Amazon gift cards and wanted to pick up the Dune series. The gift card covered it, but just couldn’t justify the cost.
I went to my library and it was the first time I was in one since I was a kid. Of course they had the series of books and even transferred some in from other libraries. Got nice text alerts when the books were ready for pick up.
Saved about $50. They even have a ton of audiobooks which I cannot wait to check out.
The library system really updated their game and was pleasantly surprised. Kind of funny that Amazon made their start in books when we can get them for basically free.
