...because they're so dang expensive that frugal folk don't buy them much!
My thoughts throughout this Tide pod thing (which I know is mostly a meme, and not a real issue), is mostly surprise at how many people buy them. They're so expensive compared to other detergent options! I understand if you do your laundry at a laundromat, and bringing a pod is easier than bringing a huge jug, but otherwise I can't imagine spending that much on pods!
