Adapting a cheap $ store pencil sharpener to run on 9v and accidentally disconnected the on/off switches. Where do they connect to the motor? (pic and details in comments)

PicThe default setting is OFF and there are 2 switches that must be engaged for it to run. The switches are pressed when you put the pencil in. The black wires in the top left to connect to the motor/battery somewhere but I can't figure out where.I know that this is a pretty simple circuit, I just can't get it to work.
