Hello, I wanted to ask and see if this is a sign of aging or it comes with having a family, but I feel so guilty when I spend a dime outside of bills and basic necessities.

I am the only one working in my household as its cheaper for my wife to stay at home with our toddler and infant. I make $100k a year with no debt and we have our own home. We live in PA so cost of living is really cheap in our area. I put a good chunk of our money into retirement, savings, college fund, etc. I budget myself $50 bucks a month just for me but I feel so guilty spending that.

I go to stores and might see a shirt I like but wont buy it. The only hobby I enjoy is gaming and I buy used since I play on a PS1-4. I don't spend more then $20 on a game at a time. Even then I feel spending over $10 is too much. But once I have accumulated 2 or 3 games i feel overwhelmed and get rid of them then regret it even if i don't plan on playing again.

Is this me being too frugal or just adulthood. I'm 34 years old and when I migrated to this country 30 years ago I grew up really poor. I always have this fear and being a man whos had a kidney transplant I fear not providing for my family one day.
