We have a Whirlpool gas dryer model LGR4634JQ2 as seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uutF1lrctJEEarlier this week, my wife noticed that the dryer was stuck on the high heat automatic dry cycle and had been drying for hours. There was no heat and the clothes were damp. We have never had a problem with this dryer before but I'm not sure how old it is as it was here when we bought the house three years ago.I cleaned out the dryer vent and replaced the thermal fuse and ran another load of laundry today and the heat was back and it dried the clothes. However, it was still stuck on the automatic dry (high heat) cycle and ran for four hours before we noticed.What could be the issue for why the dryer cycle is not advancing?
