The company my wife works for had a program where you would sponsor a family for Christmas and get some necessities to help them out. More people than expected chose not to participate so my wife and I are picking up all the remaining families. There are a lot of individuals from the lists that want shoes and socks. I don't want to get terrible shoes that will fall apart, but also don't want to spend 100 bucks a pair because of the quantity we will be getting. Most of these shoes are for children and my wife and I don't have children so lack experience. Does anyone know of a good brand/type of shoe as well as a store that would fit the bill for this situation? (Located in Michigan)
