My apartment has bedbugs so I'm planning on sealing the creases and cracks in my kitchen, rooms, and hallway. The main work will be done on the baseboards. I looked up caulk and grout. Grout doesn't seem like an option since it isn't flexible. I don't know what kind of caulk I should use, or if there's another product I should be using that's good for the job. Should I be using caulk backer rods with caulk on top, or use caulk tape instead? I'm concerned about the aesthetics of the caulk after application, is sanded or unsanded important? Are there caulks that give off an odor? I planned on applying it in common areas that are used on a daily basis.I live in NY if that's relevant *White stuff is Cimexa for the bugs. http://ift.tt/2AnwaPE via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2Apdhd7
