Put too many towels in the washer causing the agitator to burn out (1999 Frigidaire gallery stackable washer dryer)
Had a repairman come in to fix it. I just can’t afford a new unit atm. Part won’t be here until next week.
I went to the laundromat for the first time ever today and was super shocked at how expensive it is just to a single wash ($5 to use the washer)
I didn’t end up using a dryer because it was 25¢ for a mere 5 minutes.
I’m air drying my clothes on my rack at home today.
So
How do I frugally wash clothes in the interim? I’m a minimalist and don’t have many garments and need to frequently wash my tees and undies so I was thinking of using dr. bronners in the sink and letting them air dry for now ?
TLDR: washing machine broke. Any frugal laundry tips for avoiding the laundromat?
