Sorry if this is the wrong place to post but I figured you guys have dealt with home speaker/theater setups before.I currently live in a loft that is mostly brick and concrete (renovated warehouse). My living room is probably about 20 x 20 x 15‘ high. It has x4 10 foot windows, two on each outside wall. One wall is drywall, the other 3 are brick and concrete and I have a brick/concrete hallway. I’ll add a diagram. My issue is that I have 2 pioneer floor speakers which are excellent. However, my neighbor complains sometimes about hearing it. I currently have them in the corners against the drywall, facing the outside wall with windows. The reflection off the walls is crazy, and even at very low volume, you can hear it from the hallway outside my loft. I’ve been reading about moving them away from the corners and wall so that the low-frequency nodes cancel each other out and reduce the overall effect. Does anyone have any advice or resources on placement to best eliminate sound bleeding into my neighbors loft?Diagram of loft: http://ift.tt/2kkaSty via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2kLVOnO
