I saw someone post about themselves getting scammed on PayPal so figured I would post. I posted this before but not in this section. First merry Xmas everyone.
So basically sold intangible goods and used PayPal. Was $2400 worth, immediately put the funds in my bank account. Like a week later, the three different buyers all from India did an unauthorized transaction and we went into “PayPal court”. I been through this before and won on the fact the IP addresses used matched the ones the buyers always use, so I used that same tactic and said check their IPs, I won all 3 cases. Few days later, all 3 buyers do a credit card chargeback, meaning they did it through their credit card company. They all won and my PayPal balance was -2400$. This was about in August. They ended up shutting my PayPal account down like I can’t login, and I received a collections letter saying about it. I’ve ignored it on the fact at the time I had bigger priorities at the time. I’ve checked my credit score and it doesn’t reflect anything with the PayPal thing from what I can tell. It’s been about 6 months since all this happened and I figured if anything was going thappen it would of happened already. It sucks bc I didn’t do anything wrong yet PayPal is trying to shaft me. Like is anything going to happen? What should I be looking for?
