I’m planning an elk hunting trip out west next Fall, and I figure I might as well take advantage of some fishing while I’m out there. I’ve never really fly fished before, except for the time I bought a crappy rod/reel at Walmart and it broke in a week or two. I don’t want to spend a fortune, but I’d like something that is going to last me for a while.
I’m considering the Cabela’s Wind River setup right now. It’s on sale and I can get it with discounted gift-cards for around $60, which seems like a screaming deal - especially since it has a lifetime warranty. But I’m open to other suggestions as well.
